The Best Science Fiction Movies of 2018!
We’re excited to be bringing you our Best Sci Fi Movies of all time series!
This year, we’re taking a look at all the Sci Fi classics released between 2000 and 2020, including some of the most popular films released between 1995 and 2015.
This year’s list of Sci Fi favorites will feature films released during the same decade as the likes of 2001’s Blade Runner, 2002’s Alien, and 2004’s Gladiator.

Blade Runner (1982) – Ayn Rand is the protagonist of Blade Runner and is a scientist working in the future.
She is forced to work for the police after her husband, Harrison Ford, commits a crime that causes the city to be destroyed.
The police attempt to save the world, but fail to do so, leaving Ayn in a hopeless situation.
Her husband, Philip K. Dick, attempts to return to his life and to become a cop again, but is imprisoned in a secret facility.
She escapes and joins a band of resistance fighters, who form a rebellion against the state.
They eventually find a ship to escape the prison and find refuge in space.
The film is the second installment of a trilogy by Ridley Scott and features a plot twist that makes it a sequel to the original.
It is also the first film to have a star who had no direct involvement in the production.
The movie was released in theaters and won the Academy Award for Best Original Score.
Blade Warrior (2015) – The third installment in the Blade Runner franchise, the third film in the series.
Blade War is set in the year 2020, when humans have developed the technology to create a super-weapon that can destroy the entire universe.
It also stars Ryan Gosling and Ansel Elgort.
It was released on May 5, 2020, and was directed by Denis Villeneuve.
The Fifth Element (2011) – The third entry in the Lord of the Rings trilogy, this film was released November 23, 2020.
The fifth film in a trilogy of movies, The Fifth is set a year after the events of The Lord of The Rings, in which the main characters, Frodo and Sam, travel through the halls of Mordor.
Frodo’s journey ends in Mordor after Sam is defeated by the Ringwraiths, who have been imprisoned there.
Interstellar (2013) , The International, The Big Short, The Theory of Everything, and The Biggest Loser are among the films released in 2019.
Interstellar is a science fiction thriller directed by Ava DuVernay and stars Chris Pratt as the lead character in a space station crew.
The Martian (2014) – A space flight to Mars has been abandoned due to the effects of the Black Hole that destroys the planet, so a group of astronauts must survive in an underground cavern to reach the surface.
Interstellar II (2015), Interstellar: Redemption, and Interstellar: Day One are among those released in 2020.
Interstellar: The Martian and The Theory Of Everything are among that released in 2018.
Blade (1982), Blade Runner: The Final Cut, and Blade Runner 2049 are among some of those released between 2002 and 2020.9.
Blade Fury (2014), The Girl with All the Gifts, The Black Hole, and Star Trek Beyond are among others released between 1994 and 2020
